A pilot (“practice”/“beta”) program is the first time a newly certified Grief Recovery Method Specialist teaches a GRM group or one-on-one. This program is expected to be completed soon after one has had their onboarding call with a Support Team member.

Preferably, the pilot should be a group GRM format; however, a one-on-one GRM program can also count. Please note the pilot must be a GRM program, not an HCWL or Pet Loss program, so the basic GRM principles are all covered successfully.

If the pilot is done as a group, that group should have at least three people who participate. If you only get two participants, they should be done as two separate GRM one-on-ones versus a GRM group. Ideally, a GRM group would include 4-6 participants minimum.
